About Dmitry Kitsenko
Born in Ukraine, Dmitry Kitsenko studied composition at the Chisinau Institute of Arts in Moldova before continuing his advanced studies at the Bucharest Academy of Music in Romania. Over the course of his career, he has established himself as an internationally recognized composer with a diverse body of work and performances across Europe and the United States.
Career Highlights
Composed five symphonies, fifteen concertos, three string quartets,
three suites for organ, six cantatas, chamber music, choral works,
and music for children.
Performed internationally in more than 15 countries, including Germany,
Austria, Italy, Spain, Romania, the United States, Ukraine, and Moldova.
Participated in prestigious international festivals such as Kyiv Music
Fest, World Music Days, Musica Nova, and Subtropics Festival.
Received multiple Moldova Composers' and Musicologists'
Union Awards for outstanding achievements in composition.
